Jodie was back teaching in LA in June but she also taught a workshop on Brand Promise at TCG's 50th Anniversary Conference!
Jodie attended a Sardi's Luncheon with the League of Professional Theater Women for the Ruth Morley Design Award and the Lucille Lortel Award.

Jodie taped two educational videos on the business of acting for the Learning Annex with her company The Savvy Actor.

Took a much needed 10 day vacation to Italy in May 2011! Rome and Tuscany - WONDERFUL!

Jodie spoke again on a SAG Panel in NYC with Robert and Michelle Colt from Acting Success Now.


Jodie started pursuing
voiceover work full force and began working with Atlas Talent Agency.


Jodie went to LA in March to teach once again. She had a little respite in San Diego for a few days beforehand.

Jodie was nominated for and became a member of The League of Professional
Theater Women.

Jodie performed in a Valentine's Day Cabaret at The WorkShop Theater singing Move On and I'd Give It All For You.


LA was calling once again and in January Jodie went out there with The Savvy Actor to teach!
Jodie performed in a holiday benefit at The WorkShop Theater singing Santa Baby and Hard Candy Christmas!


Back in LA for December teaching The Savvy Actor's "Crash Course MBA" Weekend and teaching a workshop at The Showbiz Expo.

The Grand Opening of Paul Michael's The Network happened on Oct 15th. Jodie and her company The Savvy Actor helped Paul with his rebranding and his new logo!

Jodie and The Savvy Actor traveled back to LA and taught their "Crash Course MBA" Weekend on the Business of Acting.

The Savvy Actor expanded to Los Angeles in September 2010! It is now a bi-coastal company.

Along with her company The Savvy Actor, Jodie organized a team to walk in the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure.

Working again at The York Theatre, Jodie did an in-house reading of a new musical by Brian Blythe and Miriam Daly called Mothers and Daughters.

Jodie did an in-house reading of a new play by the amazing Rich Orloff. Me and My Shadow.

Jodie just shot a national campaign for FluMist, a new
flu vaccine! Includesprint campaign and internet webisodes!

Jodie is now an adjunct professor at Pace University teaching the Business of Acting. Her book - The Savvy Actor Career Manual- is the curriculum.

"Curly Girl" author Lorraine Massey has written "Curly Girl The Sequel" and Jodie will be featured as a model in the book!




Jodie did a reading of a new play Orange Alert by Stephen Girasulo. Performed: April 8th-10th at The WorkShop Theater.

 


Along with business partner Kevin Urban, Jodie wrote The Savvy Actor Career Manual -the first ever business plan for actors. It is now on sale online and at The Drama Book Shop! Launch Date: March 19th at The Drama Book Shop!


Jodie booked a national commercial for Eggland's Best eggs! Stay tuned for an egg eating yoga girl on your TV!


Jodie plays a manipulative palm reader in an episode of As The World Turns.Original Air date will be: Feb 2nd, 2010
Next Year in Jerusalem will be playing on the MainStage at the WorkShop Theatre. Jodie plays one of the leading roles. Performed: Oct. 8th - Oct 31st.
Jodie filmed a regional commercial for Bloom Grocery Stores, and the spots are hilarious! Great writing and a great time was had in North Carolina! Only airing in the southern states.


Jodie recorded 3 songs for Tim Huang's demo of his new musical Changing Times. You can listen to two songs on my media page. And if you don't know Tim's work - you need to!!

Jodie was in a new play at the Midtown International Theatre Festival called "Requiem for a Marriage". Think Virginia Woolf meets Brecht! Performed: July 16th- August 2nd, 2009.


Jodie was in Baltimore for three days shooting a national commercial for Carmax. Her business partner Kevin Urban booked the job as well! It started airing nationally on August 17th 2009.

Jodie was in Boston filming a promo for HBO that will be airing during the True Blood Season 2 premiere! She has a scene with the lead vampire! Original Air Date: June 14, 2009.

Jodie performed at The York Theatre's NEO 5 benefit and sang a gorgeous song written by Hyeyoung Kim and Michael Cooper. Performed: April 27, 2009

Jodie did a reading of Howard Emanuel and Michael Patrick Walkers's new musical The Distant Bells. Great script and great music! Performed: April 7, 2009.


Jodie reprised her leading role in Next Year in Jerusalem at the WorkShop Theatre for a three day staged reading. The play is by Dana Leslie Goldstein and it is phenomenal! Performed: March 26-28, 2009.


Jodie booked a commercial playing a doctor for Yale New Haven Hospitals on March 25, 2009. Again the shoot was outside and cold!!


Jodie was on set with Joan Rivers shooting an All Laundry Detergent webisode on March 13, 2009. Joan was awesome, but we shot outside and it was freezing!


Jodie was asked to do reading of a new musical Ataria by Raven Kane at the Dramatists Guild. Performed: January 26th, 2009.


Jodie booked a commercial for Foreclosure Stoppers and was on set all day on November 4th, 2008. Though she still made time to vote! Go Obama!

Jodie played Cyclone, a sultry, comic book super hero in CYCLONE and the Pig-Faced Lady at the NY Musical Theatre Festival. Opening night was Sept. 23, 2008

Jodie played the lead in a
reading of a new play called Next Year in Jerusalem at

Jodie performed at Don't Tell Mama on the in a benefit for a wonderful company Tip My
Cup Productions. Performed: January 24th, 2008.

Jodie played the lead in The
Gift of the Magi
at The Workshop Theatre for the holiday season. Performed: December 6-22nd, 2007.
Jodie was asked to do a reading of a new musical called Clarissa, written by Cailin Heffernan and music/lyrics by Steven Jamail. Performed: October 29, 2007.
Once again, Jodie will be on Guiding Light. She was the woman part of the church community board. Original Air Date: December 28, 2007.

Jodie started doing industrials, and will now
be joining SAG, after booking one for the
BMW
Mini. She played one of their sales associates.
Jodie booked a promo on VH1 of a mockumentary on the greatest rock band
of all time--Rock Band Band. She plays
their bitchy manager.
Jodie played Didi, an otherwise '50's "clean-teen" looking to escape her oppressive home life in the musical Girl Gang. The show was a partner event with NYMF and ran Sept. 22-30th.

She will be in the ourtdoor

Jodie booked a print ad for Prilosec. The ad
will be seen in Sunset Magazine, a west coast publication in October.
Jodie performed in WORKSPACE at the Manhattan Theatre Club on April 23rd & 25th, 2007. It was an industry scene night for professional working actors.

heard on the radio in a commercial for Verizon
FiOS! By the way, still keep
an out for her WebMD commercial playing on FOX!
Cyclone (and the Pig-Faced Lady) had a concert reading produced by Algonquin Theatre Productions on February 12, 2007. Jodie once again played Cyclone.
The new year has started off great! Jodie has been in the recording studio for a week singing on the demo CD of Cyclone (and the Pig-Faced Lady). Jodie plays Cyclone.
Guiding Light called again
